I guess I have a lot to learn about image manipulation. I understand the KNN to find images that are likely overlapping. However, even if I knew that, it’s not obvious to me how to align multiple images on top of each other (e.g., how to find the overlapping regions). I’ve searched for various things (e.g., “PIL image overlap”, “skimage image overlap”, “numpy matrix intersection”, “sift image overlap matching python”) and nothing obvious… Out of curiosity, do you know how this is done?
